If you love the magic of the festival but prefer to avoid the hustle, simply cross the road to Cremorne Reserve. Located at the end of Cremorne Point on the northern side of the harbour, this peaceful green space offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the lights—minus the chaos of the city centre.
Vivid Sydney runs from 22 May to 13 June 2026.
A picnic basket and rug are provided—perfect for finding a quiet patch of grass and watching the city light up as the sun sets.
By ferry:
The same ferry service also operates from Old Cremorne; the walk from there takes a few minutes longer and includes some stairs from the wharf and along the foreshore path.
When the Cremorne ferry wharf reopens, the walk around is mostly level, with only a small number of steps required to access the property from the rear.
By car:
If arriving by car, please note that access to the apartment involves a flight of exterior stairs (one level down from the street). As such, the property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Due to the apartment’s direct access to the harbour reserve and waterfront, the property may not be suitable for young children or unsupervised dogs.
That said, we understand it’s not always easy to travel without family. In some cases, we’re happy to discuss options to help accommodate children or dogs safely—such as temporary gating or other practical solutions—depending on your needs.
